In March of 2008 a Yashica Mat 124 twin lens reflex camera came into my possession. Never before using a twin lens system, I was intrigued to see my life present itself through a square viewfinder.
The following photographs were taken within a six month period from March through August 2008. There is no particular grouping of photographs, no set of ideals, and no thesis. The square format is the only common thread that binds them as one. These photographs are a brief glimpse into what I have witnessed in only a handful of months.
